Job Title: Intermediate ServiceNow Configurator

Location: Canada (Hybrid - Every Tuesday must be in office and as needed)

Job Type: Long term

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate ServiceNow Configurator for our client. In this role, you will design, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. You will serve as a technical expert, collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow applications and modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, customize, and develop ServiceNow modules.

  • Experience in multiple modules of ServiceNow or atleast more than 1 module of ServiceNow

  • Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.

  • Design and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations within ServiceNow.

  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on platform strategy and enhancements.

  • Stay current with ServiceNow releases and new features; evaluate and recommend adoption where appropriate.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration and development.

  • Experience in multiple modules of ServiceNow or atleast more than 1 module of the ServiceNow

  • Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and integration methods (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server).

  • Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex ServiceNow projects.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery) a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.

  • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Service Portal, or App Engine Studio.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
