Job description

We’re hiring a Delivery Manager (Full-Time / FTE) to lead delivery of a strategic enterprise client engagement for our client in the consulting sector. This role is responsible for successful execution across a distributed team and a structured governance model. The role is ideally based in Hyderabad and will include some on-site client visits as required. 

Coverage note: This engagement requires coordination aligned to a client tier 2 support (I.E. bug/patch fixes) window of 12pm to 9pm IST, so comfort working late IST hours is important. 

What You’ll Do (Key Accountabilities) 

1) Delivery Leadership & Governance 

  • Define and run delivery governance, standards, and operating cadence to ensure consistent execution and predictable outcomes. 

  • Own delivery plans, milestones, and delivery communications across stakeholders and internal teams. 

  • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests; escalate early and clearly. 

2) KPI / Performance Management & Reporting 

  • Track and improve delivery performance (quality, timeliness, responsiveness) using structured reporting and evidence-based updates. 

  • Ensure delivery status, risks, and outcomes are clearly communicated to leadership and client stakeholders. 

3) Stakeholder Management (Client + Internal) 

  • Act as a bridge between senior client stakeholders and the delivery organization; drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making. 

  • Manage client expectations, facilitate solution discussions, and ensure the engagement remains outcome focused. 

4) Team Leadership & Resource Coordination 

  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams and support performance management, coaching, and development. 

  • Support capacity planning and resource coordination to ensure coverage during required support tier 2 (I.E. application bug fixes) windows and smooth execution across time zones.  

What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days) 

  • Delivery cadence is running cleanly (weekly governance rhythm, clear reporting, minimal ambiguity). 

  • Issues/risks are identified early and resolved without fire drills; client trust increases through consistency and transparency. 

  • Team is operating as a cohesive unit across time zones, with reliable handoffs and clear ownership. 

Job requirements

  • 10+ years in delivery management within technology professional services (project / program / delivery leadership). 

  • Proven experience leading complex delivery with multiple stakeholders (Agile / hybrid environments helpful).  

  • Strong leadership, ownership, and executive-level communication skills. 

  • Strong discipline in planning, reporting, escalation management, and delivery governance. 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience delivering in regulated or enterprise environments where auditability, documentation, and process rigor matter. 

  • Familiarity with IT service workflows, operational support models, and structured KPI reporting.

  • Hours: Standard IST working hours + coordination coverage aligned to 12pm to 9pm IST as required by the engagement (Note: some support items will be considered urgent and will require team to work outside of normal hours)
