Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in data science and machine learning to join our team supporting our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and leveraging data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to develop and implement advanced analytics solutions that optimize business processes and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and requirements, and translate them into actionable data science projects.

- Analyze large and complex datasets using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business growth and efficiency.

- Develop and maintain predictive models, algorithms, and data visualizations to support decision-making processes.

- Identify and evaluate new data sources, technologies, and tools to enhance data analysis capabilities and drive innovation.

- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to design, develop, and implement scalable and robust data solutions.

- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics for evaluating the success of data science projects.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning techniques and tools, and proactively recommend improvements and best practices.

Job requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline). - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data science and machine learning. - Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn). - Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into data science projects and actionable insights. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
