Job description

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced Siebel Developer to join their team on a fully remote basis for a 3-month consulting engagement. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical and functional background in Siebel CRM and be adept at implementing best practices in real-world settings. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oracle Siebel CRM Configuration:
    • Develop and configure Business Components, Views, Applets, Roles & Responsibilities, Workflow, eScript, and Open UI.
  2. Event-Driven Configuration:
    • Implement and manage Workflow Policies and Run-time Events.
  3. EAI Integrations:
    • Develop and support Business Services, Web Services, Scripting, and Configuration.
  4. Siebel Administration:
    • Provide production support, system maintenance, and perform system upgrades.
  5. Customer Interaction:
    • Engage effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  6. Technical Expertise:
    • Demonstrate deep technical and functional knowledge of Siebel 8 and above versions.
  7. Best Practices Implementation:
    • Apply best practices in Siebel implementation and ensure high standards in project delivery.
  8. Database Proficiency:
    • Work with Oracle or MS SQL Server databases proficiently.
  9. Full Life Cycle Implementation:
    • Participate in all phases of the implementation project, from analysis to deployment.
  10. Siebel Tools and Scripting:
    • Utilize Siebel tools for configuration and scripting to develop customer solutions.
    • Create and execute SQL queries to build reports as needed.
  11. Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain system specifications, operating procedures, installation instructions, and other relevant documentation.

Job requirements


  • Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM Configuration; Business Components, Views, Applets, Roles & Responsibilities, Workflow, eScript, Open UI.
  • Experience with event driven Configuration, such as Workflow Policies and Run-time Events.
  • Experience with EAI Integrations, Business Services, Web Services, Scripting, Configuration
  • Experience with Siebel Administration, production support, system maintenance and upgrades
  • Should possess excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers
  • Deep technical and functional experience on Siebel 8 and above.
  • Deep knowledge in implementation of best practices and apply in a real-world setting
  • Must have proficiency in Oracle or MS SQL server databases
  • Experience with full life cycle implementation project.
  • Experience working with Siebel tools (configuration and scripting) to analyze and implement a customer solutions. working on SQL queries to build reports as requested
  • Experience with documenting system specifications, operating procedures, installation instructions and other system-related information
