Job description
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Associate Creative Director with a strong background in brand and creative marketing to lead our artistic endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of artistic flair, strategic thinking, and technical understanding with experience in marketing materials, campaigns, and brand identity. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, copywriters, and project managers, to deliver impactful and innovative solutions.
This is a remote position - candidates located in Toronto, Canada GTA (available for client meetings)
Responsibilities:
- Concept Development and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop creative concepts, strategies, and client presentations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate fresh ideas and innovative approaches.
- Project Management:
- Manage and supervise multiple projects simultaneously.
- Allocate resources effectively based on project requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Creative Direction:
- Direct the design and development of creative materials, including digital assets, print collateral, and multimedia content.
- Maintain brand identity and message consistency across various channels.
- Client Objectives:
- Understand client objectives, values, and business goals.
- Translate client needs into creative solutions that resonate with the target audience.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate creative teams, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay Current:
- Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices.
- Apply this knowledge to enhance our creative output.
Job requirements
Skills and Qualities:
- Solid understanding of marketing, brand, and design principles
- Ability to collaborate with UX designers and developers to create seamless user experiences.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with tools like D3.js, Tableau, or Chart.js.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, participating in sprints, and adapting to changing project requirements.
- Experience leading and managing creative teams.
- Strong concept development and strategy skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- A creative mind that thrives in a collaborative environment
- Minimum of 5 years of agency experience.
