AWS Solutions Architect (PL740)

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solutions architect to support a cloud infrastructure initiative for our client in the banking sector. This role will focus on designing, provisioning, and optimizing AWS components to support data and platform needs. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on AWS expertise and the ability to identify, set up, and configure appropriate AWS services to meet technical and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead the setup, provisioning, and validation of AWS infrastructure to support various cloud and data initiatives

·        Recommend and implement the appropriate AWS services (e.g., Redshift, Athena, etc.) based on business needs and performance goals

·        Ensure AWS environments are configured and optimized for security, performance, and cost efficiency

·        Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with architectural and operational standards

·        Conduct infrastructure pilots to validate design choices and operational readiness. Support platform and cloud optimization efforts, continuously refining deployments for scalability and efficiency

·        Years of experience 3- 5 years

·        Proven hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and service provisioning

·        Deep understanding of various AWS tools (e.g., Redshift, Athena, S3, Glue, etc.) and their appropriate use cases

·        Strong ability to assess, configure, and optimize AWS components for enterprise use

·        Experience in cloud infrastructure design and optimization in a production environment

·        Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

·        Previous experience in financial services or banking environments is a strong asset
