Job description
Job Title: Business Analyst (HR domain)
Location: Hybrid, Canada (Every Tuesday in office)
Duration: 8 months contract
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders from HR, Talent Acquisition, and other business units to understand their needs and requirements for talent-related projects.
Conduct thorough analysis of talent data, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and the employee lifecycle, to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications for talent-related initiatives, considering the entire employee lifecycle.
Facilitate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the employee lifecycle.
Analyze and interpret large datasets to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to drive talent-related strategies and initiatives, considering the impact on the employee lifecycle.
Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring successful implementation of talent-related projects and systems that support the employee lifecycle.
Participate in the design and testing of talent-related systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of end-users and align with business requirements and the employee lifecycle.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent-related initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports to stakeholders, considering the impact on the employee lifecycle.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent management, HR processes, and the employee lifecycle, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Job requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Must Have 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, in talent management or HR domains
Strong knowledge of talent management processes, including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and the employee lifecycle.
Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Experience in documenting business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
