Job description

Job Title: Business Analyst (HR domain)
Location: Hybrid, Canada (Every Tuesday in office)
Duration: 8 months contract


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from HR, Talent Acquisition, and other business units to understand their needs and requirements for talent-related projects.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of talent data, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and the employee lifecycle, to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications for talent-related initiatives, considering the entire employee lifecycle.

  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the employee lifecycle.

  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to drive talent-related strategies and initiatives, considering the impact on the employee lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring successful implementation of talent-related projects and systems that support the employee lifecycle.

  • Participate in the design and testing of talent-related systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of end-users and align with business requirements and the employee lifecycle.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent-related initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports to stakeholders, considering the impact on the employee lifecycle.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in talent management, HR processes, and the employee lifecycle, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Must Have 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, in talent management or HR domains

  • Strong knowledge of talent management processes, including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, and the employee lifecycle.

  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Experience in documenting business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
