Job description

Our public sector client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Developer to design, develop, and support Dynamics-based business solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to configure and customize Dynamics applications while ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with public sector standards.

This role requires strong hands-on development experience within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform ecosystem.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions

  • Configure entities, forms, workflows, business rules, and security roles

  • Develop custom plugins, workflows, and integrations using C# and .NET

  • Build and maintain Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Integrate Dynamics with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs

  • Support solution deployments across environments (Dev, Test, Prod)

  • Collaborate with BAs and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and support UAT activities

  • Ensure solutions comply with public sector security and privacy standards

  • Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics Developer

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE)

  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Dynamics SDK

  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Strong understanding of Dynamics security model and data architecture

  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

  • Experience in public sector or regulated environments is an asset

 

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse

  • Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas Apps)

  • Power Automate

  • C#, .NET, JavaScript

  • REST / SOAP APIs

  • Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions – nice to have)

  • Source control and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps – asset)

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Customer Service, Case Management, etc.)

  • Power BI reporting and dashboards

  • Microsoft certifications (PL-200, PL-400)
