Hybrid: once a week in office

We are seeking a highly skilled professional for our client in the consulting industry to join their Technology team as a Strategy & Operations Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping strategic direction, driving planning cycles, and ensuring alignment across technology teams. You will work closely with senior leadership to synthesize insights, prepare executive-ready materials, and lead strategic initiatives from conception through delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Alignment

  • Coordinate annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring alignment and accountability across teams.

  • Drive strategic initiatives that support organizational goals and technology priorities.

Executive Communication

  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, strategic briefings, and reports for senior leadership.

  • Translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.

Project & Initiative Management

  • Manage special projects and strategic initiatives end-to-end, from concept to delivery.

  • Define success metrics and track progress to ensure timely execution.

Technology Business Management (TBM)

  • Apply TBM principles to planning, financial reporting, and stakeholder communications.

  • Partner with Finance and PMO to ensure transparency and optimization of technology investments.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain governance frameworks and operating rhythms to track performance and outcomes.

  • Manage multiple priorities concurrently with strong organizational skills.

Job requirements

Must Have:

  • Proven ability to synthesize executive insights and shape strategic direction.

  • Strong experience in strategic planning and coordinating planning cycles.

  • Skilled in preparing executive-ready presentations and strategic materials.

  • Ability to manage and execute special projects end-to-end.

  • Solid understanding of Technology Business Management disciplines.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-Have:

  • 3–5+ years in a consulting or strategy environment.

  • Experience interfacing with CIO-level stakeholders.

  • Ability to stay ahead of market/industry trends and translate them into strategic insights.
